News Of The Launch Of The New Collection From Dawn Bibby...

Thank you everyone for the birthday messages, cards and gifts that you have sent to me. It's greatly appreciated and certainly brightens up my studio at home. Monday is going to be a very busy day as I'm on air all day but I'm sure it will be fun and it means that I can share the day with you all.

It has also been very busy at the shop and on our website this week with our birthday week promotion - it lasts until March 25th, so do pop along and receive a 10% discount on all regular lines by saying - "Happy Birthday Dawn" at the check out.

Some new Jumbo Cling Stamps that I used in my recent workshop are proving popular. Stampendous Stamps - Zinnia and Dogwood and from Artemio - Pressed Flowers.

Gilding Flakes and Texture Sponges are still flying out the door - we do stock Acetate and Double Sided Adhesive if you need that too.

Tim Holtz products are selling extremely well. You must be stocking up in preparation of next weekend's workshops with Hels Sheridan!

Thank you all for your lovely comments about the new bag and jewellery range, the soft canvas dotty bags have been best sellers. I love the red /white dotty one myself. Not only do I think it looks very smart, but I also love the fact that I can cram so many crafting goodies into it!

I have some very exciting news for you - my new collection "Classical Bloom" will be launched on the 26th March at 8am (groan, in the morning? Really? Again? Ha ha ha!) This collection has a vintage feel in a contemporary sort of way with dusky colour tones. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will like it as much as you did the Flower Patch Collection.
Anyway, to celebrate the launch I shall be running Prize Draws as I did for the Flower Patch Collection. However, this time as well as the ones on my Facebook and Blog, I thought I would do a special one for people who subscribe to this newsletter.

A Personal Thank You... By Dawn

Hello everyone,

Thought I would drop you a personal note and say a big thank you for supporting our wonderful event this week at Create and Craft for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
It's been an incredibly busy week for all of us but one that has been highly enjoyable andimmensely rewarding. It is such a wonder cause, so thank you to everyone who supported our efforts.

Now what's that old adage of there being no rest for the wicked Ha ha! Yes, you've guessed it! I am writing this in transit! I'm on my way home to prepare for my workshop this weekend.
I still have lots of preparation to do for Saturday's class and for Sunday's demo.

I think I forgot to mention it in the last newsletter, but I will be instore demonstrating this Sunday so if your out and about in Lancashire, do please pop in and join me for some craft fun. Maybe even make a card yourself ? Ricardo will be running make'n'takes on Sunday afternoon so join us for a coffee and perhaps pick up some crafting tips. Don't forget we have the "Hubbys Hideaway" with Sky TV if you need to keep your other half occupied!
While I am holding my workshop, Linda will also be demonstrating instore on Saturday. No doubt she will be using the fabulous new embossing folders that have just arrived (check out our website too for these new additions) and the new collections from Hunkydory. Both are proving to be highly popular.

Speaking of workshops...

I have just released another date - Saturday 14th April. It's a full day class with me. This will be a repeat of the March 10th day as so many people wanted to attend and sadly I couldn't fit everyone in so I do hope that you can join me for this date in April.

The cost is £50, this includes all material, as well as lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

I will be covering lots of techniques including stamping and embossing on metal, acetate, creating backgrounds with cosmic shimmer watercolour paints, blended backgrounds and much, much more. Will be fun, so as I said, I hope you can join me.

During March and April we also have classes with Jane Goff. These are always extremely popular classes that we run monthly and again, Jane will be incorporating a host of different techniques into her classes.

JANUARY

Saturday 14th - Crafting With Jane.

10am- 12.30pm: Card Making

A workshop packed full of techniques and  stamping.

Jane has been my crafting assistant for many years and creates  many of the cards you see in my tv shows.

1.30pm- 4pm: Scrapbooking

A truly inspirational class bringing your scrapbook pages to  life, using beautiful papers and many varied techniques.

Saturday 21st - A Day with Dawn.

10am - 4pm

Learn a host of techniques and create beautiful cards and more  in this full day class, this includes lunch and all materials.

Sheila is well repected for her work with Docraft and makes  regular appearances on the Create and Craft channel for the company where she is  recognised for creating beautiful cards and mini books. Sheila is also  constantly travelling the UK demonstrating and teaching. This is Shelia's first  visit to us and she is promising that one of her projects in her workshop will  be a stepper card with a difference!

Sheila will be creating a variety of projects including a  never ending card in this class using the latest product releases from  Docraft.

25th & 26th - Sheena Douglass Weekend.

Join Sheena for an action packed weekend of crafting, always  fun and inspirational.

Learn this fascinating folk art painting technique  incorporating Sheena’s own beautiful stamp designs.

Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th - Crafting with Hels  Sheridan.

Hels is making her first visit to us but is an experienced  tutor coming with a wealth of new ideas and inspiration. A fully fledged Ranger  Educator she will be teaching a whole host of techniques and new concepts along  with dimensional art in the form of beautiful cards and mini books.
