Thank you all for your lovely comments about the new bag and jewellery range, the soft canvas dotty bags have been best sellers. I love the red /white dotty one myself. Not only do I think it looks very smart, but I also love the fact that I can cram so many crafting goodies into it!

I have some very exciting news for you - my new collection "Classical Bloom" will be launched on the 26th March at 8am (groan, in the morning? Really? Again? Ha ha ha!) This collection has a vintage feel in a contemporary sort of way with dusky colour tones. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will like it as much as you did the Flower Patch Collection.
Anyway, to celebrate the launch I shall be running Prize Draws as I did for the Flower Patch Collection. However, this time as well as the ones on my Facebook and Blog, I thought I would do a special one for people who subscribe to this newsletter.

Hello everyone,

Just a very quick note to let you know the new items on our website and to remind you that I will be in the shop on Sunday afternoon demonstration different craft products including some of the new items that have just arrived at the Design Studio. Also, if you want some advice with a particular project, or are thinking about trying a new technique, then do please pop in and I will be more than happy to help you in a one to one mini tutorial.

A Personal Thank You... By Dawn

Hello everyone,

Thought I would drop you a personal note and say a big thank you for supporting our wonderful event this week at Create and Craft for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
It's been an incredibly busy week for all of us but one that has been highly enjoyable andimmensely rewarding. It is such a wonder cause, so thank you to everyone who supported our efforts.

Now what's that old adage of there being no rest for the wicked Ha ha! Yes, you've guessed it! I am writing this in transit! I'm on my way home to prepare for my workshop this weekend.
I still have lots of preparation to do for Saturday's class and for Sunday's demo.

I think I forgot to mention it in the last newsletter, but I will be instore demonstrating this Sunday so if your out and about in Lancashire, do please pop in and join me for some craft fun. Maybe even make a card yourself ? Ricardo will be running make'n'takes on Sunday afternoon so join us for a coffee and perhaps pick up some crafting tips. Don't forget we have the "Hubbys Hideaway" with Sky TV if you need to keep your other half occupied!
While I am holding my workshop, Linda will also be demonstrating instore on Saturday. No doubt she will be using the fabulous new embossing folders that have just arrived (check out our website too for these new additions) and the new collections from Hunkydory. Both are proving to be highly popular.

Speaking of workshops...

I have just released another date - Saturday 14th April. It's a full day class with me. This will be a repeat of the March 10th day as so many people wanted to attend and sadly I couldn't fit everyone in so I do hope that you can join me for this date in April.

The cost is £50, this includes all material, as well as lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

I will be covering lots of techniques including stamping and embossing on metal, acetate, creating backgrounds with cosmic shimmer watercolour paints, blended backgrounds and much, much more. Will be fun, so as I said, I hope you can join me.

During March and April we also have classes with Jane Goff. These are always extremely popular classes that we run monthly and again, Jane will be incorporating a host of different techniques into her classes.

"Hello Again..." by Dawn

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for the silence; been having some "me" time.

Well what a wonderfully crazy time I had over in California on a recent visit to CHA with Create and Craft! We were on the hunt for fabulous new products and we certainly found them! Obviously I can't talk too much about the trip, but I can tell you it was a hugely successful and watch this space as you are going to be seeing lots of big name brands with beautiful new lines over the coming months.

We were kept really busy the whole time we were there as there was so much to see, however it was also lovely to catch up with all my friends in the craft industry even if it was sadly only briefly!

"Off To California In The Morning..." by Dawn

Hello everyone,
Just enough time for me to do a quick newsletter before heading off to Los Angeles to attend the world's largest trade fair for crafts. It's very exciting as the CHA is normally packed full of new crafting items and is an insight as to what the coming year has in store for us, what the predicted "trends" will be etc. It's also a great opportunity to catch up with crafting friends!
It's a 4am start for me tomorrow as I have to get down to Heathrow to catch my flight, so it's an early night for me! Makes a nice change huh?! Ha ha!

It's been a crazy couple of days trying to sort out all the new items and those that are back in stock for both the shop and the website. Some of these lines on my website include Embossing Folders from Tim Holtz - I love the Postcard & Sheet Music one myself.

"My Workshop, Sale Continuing & Back In Stocks"... by Dawn

Am just taking a mini break from preparing the projects for my workshop with is on Saturday at my shop. We have had a couple of late cancellations so if you wanted to come along and couldn't please all 01254 356501 a.s.a.p.for full details and to book your ticket. The other workshop I am doing in March is already fully booked and with this year already looking like a really busy year for me, I'm not sure when I'll be holding another workshop.

Also on Saturday we have an in-store demonstration of the Cuttlebug with Lee. This will be running from 11am - 4pm so do come along and learn about it's versatility and how to get the best results with this great little machine. If you already own one, Lee will be able to advise you on how to get maximum useage from it and he will also answer any questions you might have.

Another good reason to pop along this weekend is to have a look at the new additions to our sale.

As well as 25% reduction on selected Craftwork Cards, Tim Holtz and all Christmas themed items.
We have also kept my DVD's at an incredibly low price of £5 each. Once these have gone they really will be gone and a few titles have already sold out. They are all packed with hints, tips and demonstrations which I hope will be useful for you and at £5 each, it's a very affordable way to start your own visual reference library.

It's been another really busy week both on Create & Craft and at my shop.
